Deciding to become a coach is a big decision for you and the players you would be responsible for. To ensure you make an informed decision and the highest safety standards for the players are achieved, before committing please review and ensure you can reasonably comply with the Say National Risk Management Policy.
Please note a coach as defined by this risk policy is considered a "volunteer." A volunteer is any individual that may have unsupervised access to children participating in a SAY sanctioned activity, for the purpose of assisting in that activity (This does not include parents and guardians observing their children during such activities). Other volunteers, such as team parent, officials, board members, etc. could be covered under this program as well and are subject to the same requirements.
If you would like to discuss becoming a coach in more detail, please reach out to one of your District Representatives or any SAY NSL Board Member - SAY NSL Officers and District Representatives
If you're ready to express your interest and become a coach, please follow the steps below.
Note: These steps must be completed annually by New and Returning Coaches and Volunteers.
